Lasbela Industrial Estates Development Authority (LIEDA) is an autonomous body established vide an Ordinance No. IX of 1984 under the Industries & Commerce Department notified by the Government of Balochistan, Law Department notification No.Legis.1-74/LAW/83 dated September 26th, 1984 with the sole task to promote industrialization at District Lasbela particularly and in Balochistan in general.
Lasbela Industrial Estates Development Authority
is an autonomous body of the Government of Balochistan. The main objectives of LIEDA are to provide an enabling environment for investors, accelerate the pace of industrialization, attract foreign investment, enhance export volume, and create job opportunities for the people of the area.
Industrial Estates
A large number of National and Multi-National Industries have been established here and are operating successfully.
The Marble City project was inaugurated by the Honorable President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 22 July 2006.
A fast-developing industrial area spread over about 230 acres with all basic infrastructure facilities provided.
This was a huge project comprising of 102 acres of land and become a base for establishment of Uthal Industrial Estate.
